  1. I think Stacey was so dumb for giving his coat to T.J just because he said he looked like a preacher. I also liked the speech Uncle Hammer gave Stacey about not listening to what people say in the world or he'll never get anywhere.

  2. I really thought it was sad when Mr. Morrison was telling what happened in his childhood. The way the night mens hurt his family and how his family got killed.

  3. In Chapter 7 I think Stacey learned a good lesson about apperciating what you get. Also in Chapter 7 it kind of made me shead a few tears because when I was hearing about what happened to Mr. Morrison family, I just imagine what if I was in his shoes. How would I act?

  4. I agree with Saran and Netta because the part when Uncle Hammer is giving Stacey the speech about thinking for himself and think about himself 1st. I think that uncle hammer was the biggest help in Staceys life, i think he was the best role model for Stacey. I don't think it was SAD about Mr.Morrison's family experience i think it was just very informing/good that he made it through all of that. I also don't think that it was stupid for Stacey to give TJ the coat because it was a mistake and people learn from mistakes. I feel that he was just being very giving/caring but i stiil understand where Uncle Hammer is coming from.

    Saran,

Why do you think it was stupid for Stacey to give TJ the coat?
