Chapter 12 was very serious. The part that's stuck in my head is when papa wants to tell them what happened to T.J but he doesn't want them to know. This is like when my mother doesn't want to tell us certain stuff but she has to because we can learn from it. I think papa was thinking the same exact thing. So he told them. The part where Cassie is sort of sad at the end when she says " I cried for the T.J For T.J and the land. "
