  1. Chapter five really wasn't much. But the fact that Cassie is so brave gets me the most. She talks a lot but she says the right thing at the right time (sometimes).

  3. Cassie, Stacey, and T.J. wasn't suppose to go into the Mercantile but they did anyways. When the man was being rude to them by helping other people before them. Cassie said "Mister we was here first, why are you taking other people before us that isn't fair at all". But it seems when she speaks her mind her family thinks it's wrong and she stepping 'outta her place.

  5. I agree with Netta thats what basicly happend in chapter 5 . Now im on chapter 10 and I already read it and I still get enjoyed.Its very interesting on history, and ETC .

  6. I also agree with Netta because she Cassie stands up for what she believes in and then she feels confused because she knows she's doing the right thing but she always ends up in the negative position like she's the "bad person" doing the wrong thing. That reminds me of myself.
